Member Qualifications

Active Membership Requirements:

• Current employment providing activities in the following settings:
    - long-term health care facilities
    - retirement housing
    - adult day services programs
    - senior citizen centers
    - assisted living facility

• Activity consultants and/or educators in the field of activities whose primary focus is geriatric populations.

• Students of Activity Leader Courses.

Associate Membership Requirements:

• Retired Activity Professional

• Student

• Volunteer

• Senior Citizen

*Associate Members are ineligible to vote or hold office; committee participation is in an advisory capacity only.

Supportive Membership Requirements:

Open to those organizations, state activity associations, agencies, health care associations, service providers, allied health professional groups, and/or groups interested in or being supportive of the activity profession.

*This is a non-voting, non-serving membership category.
